Katie O’Regan Actor/Director/ Musician/ Writer
Katie is the author of 8 plays and over 150 songs. Her doctoral dissertation is written about mentoring in the workplace. She has been published in academic journals for her work and in newspapers for her work in the theater in film. She is the founder and Director of Sacred Noise Society and The Star City Film Festival.
The staged play “Good Morning America" was Katie’s 71st staged production on her director's resume. Katie directed and produced “ Good Morning Miss America” in April in Iowa 2019. She then took it off-Broadway in NYC in the Fall of 2019.In 2020 She adapted the script to a screenplay and shot the film which was released in 2023. Katie plays the lead role of “ Jane Nelson” and also wrote songs on the soundtrack of the film. The film’s title is “ Give ‘ Em Hell Honey.” Other NYC Director’s credits include Tennessee Williams “Trilogy of the Blues”, “Women Who Work”, by Keith Carey Green and her own original musical, “The Dream Café Musical”. One of her favorite roles as an actress include the part of the "The Dancing Statue of Liberty" in Yakov Smirnoff's Broadway New York special "As long as We Both Shall Laugh", a regional tour playing “Cinderella", "Belle" in the Christmas Carol, Kathryn in "Enemy of The People" in a Midwest tour directed by Diane Paulus, and "Mara" in numerous productions of ”The Dream Cafe Musical".
